I just saw your message and its too late to change existing plans and attend your meeting. I am interested in knowing if anyone over there is willing to give a course on Linux to senior citizens. Thanks for your help.
regards

Sorry for the late reply. This is a new program to us and we are still getting used to it. In terms of your message… Absolutely! We have done Linux presentations in the past and are likely to do them in the future. Most of the regulars use some form of Linux at home. We are by no means “heavyweights” like you’d find at the MUUG, but we still get by. Incidentally we have no problems with Windows or Mac issues either.
Most of our topics are rather generic and we find Linux works extremely well for most demonstrations. More often than not we will make an effort to have more than one machine, each with a different Operating System, available.
Quite a number of our group are also seniors. We also have quite a few irregular attendees who are not seniors. Everybody is welcome. Fair warning though, we are looking to take the presentations slightly above the newbie level.
